Somerdale's fundraiser for NSPCC

Somerdale Educate Together is raising money for NSPCC
Campaign by NSPCC (RCN 216401 and SC037717)
An all-inclusive, fun day for nurseries and schools to celebrate numbers and have fun with maths activities and games. A mathemagical day to Dress up for Digits and download maths inspired resources. Every pound you raise helps support the NSPCC.

Story

We invite children to come to school wearing an item of clothing with a number on it and make a donation to the NSPCC. This could be a favourite sports top or cap, or even a onesie. Or why not get more creative and design a unique t-shirt, hat or even become a human-sized calculator or dice!

Children across the school will be taking part in Buddy’s Maths Challenge as well as other fun maths-related activities. Children in Key Stage Two will also take part in the NSPCC Rocks timetables competition, held in association with Times Tables Rock Stars.

Celebrating 25 years Number Day is maths, but not as you know it! Get your school or nursery involved with Number Day fun and celebrate this February.

Number Day is 7 February 2025, schools and nurseries sign up for free maths resources and activities like our popular Buddy’s Key Challenge and get creative with ‘dress up for digits’

The money you raise could help to fund Childline, a service that’s there 24/7, for any child or young person to turn to, or it could help the NSPCC to visit more schools as part of their Speak Out Stay Safe programme, giving children the knowledge and confidence to speak out about anything that’s worrying them, including abuse, so they can get help.

Thank you.
