12 of us will be tackling the Yorkshire 3 peaks on the 12th April and we thought it would be a great opportunity to raise a bit of cash for charity in the process.

We have chosen two charities that between us mean a lot and any money raised will benefit them greatly.

First we have Christies. Unfortunately we all know somebody who has been affected by cancer and some people are sadly no longer with us today due to this awful disease. Christies are an amazing charity and are leading experts in cancer care, research and education so we all agree are such a worthy cause to raise money for.

Secondly we are raising money for Therapy Dogs UK. The benefits of Animal Assisted Therapies (AAT) have been extensively studied and results range from improvement in general health and wellbeing, increased confidence levels, improved and controlled movement to improved communication skills. A member of our group has experienced the joy of therapy dogs and their positive impact so we would like to raise money for this charity too.

We would really appreciate any donation you can give to our worthy causes, no amount is too small. Raising any money at all will certainly give us a boost on our 26 mile trek!
