The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

During my final year of university, my world was turned upside down: my mum—my rock—was diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. Even as she has gone through her own battle, she continued encouraging me to use painting as an outlet when words weren’t enough. Art became my lifeline—a way to process what we were both going through.

I recently hosted a Paintathon fundraiser and, thanks to incredible support, we raised nearly £5,000 for The Brain Tumour Charity. If you missed it, there’s still time to donate retroactively through my JustGiving link. Every contribution—large or small—helps fuel essential glioblastoma research.

And the effort doesn’t stop there. In honour of my mum and her unwavering strength, I’m committing 10% of every painting sale to The Brain Tumour Charity, carrying on the fight for a cure that she has inspired in me. Throughout her illness, she’s been and continues to be a reminder to seize every moment, showing me just how precious life really is.

Thank you for reading our story and for any support you can give. Together, we can keep hope alive and work toward a future where no family faces this devastating journey.
