Story

As a school, we had the pleasure of meeting Martin, the founder of Charlie's Promise, who shared the touching story of his son, Charlie, to raise awareness of knife crime and the devastating impact it has on families.

Martin had a huge impact on all of us, and we would like to support the charity as much as possible. Therefore, for Charlie's 21st birthday, all 19 members of our Sixth Form Committee will be taking part in a challenge to collectively 'cycle' 280 miles, representing the journey from South Craven to the Royal Sussex County Hospital.

During our non-contact periods at school, we will be clocking up the miles on the spin bikes outside our PE office, with everyone contributing towards the total distance.
