On Saturday 29th April 2023, six eight-person crews from different Oxford colleges will attempt to complete a fundraising marathon row from the OUBC Boathouse in Wallingford, back to the College Boathouses in Oxford! The crews taking on the challenge are:

Trinity College (2 boats, 1 trinity and 1 composite with Wadham)

Worcester College

New College (2 boats)

Lady Margaret Hall (1 boat)

Wadham College

St Anne's College

The crews will row as a pair of boats navigating seven locks between Wallingford and Oxford: Benson, Days, Clifton, Culham, Abingdon, Sandford and Iffley. It is envisaged that the event will take approx. six hours to complete subject to conditions!

The aim of this event is for each crew to raise £1,200 in sponsorship which will support a junior bursary position at Fulham Reach Boat Club (FRBC). Each bursary gives a young person the opportunity to row for 1 year full funded.
