Louise and I will be taking part in the Hospital Hero Hike on Saturday 4th October 2025 (previously 12th July 2025 changed due to unforseen circumstances) and we will be walking in support of bowel cancer screening.

It is a 21 mile walk from Colchester Hospital to Ipswich Hospital and your generous donations will go towards bowel cancer screening providing patients and staff with the extras that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide, but which can make a vital difference to health and healing.

Fundraising supports bowel cancer screening by funding education for patients and raising awareness about early detection. It helps promote the importance of using the free FIT kit, encouraging preventative action that can save lives through early diagnosis and treatment.
