It's time to be a #HospitalHero

Join us for the Hospital Hero Hike on Saturday 4 October 2025.

The hike is a walk from Colchester Hospital to Ipswich Hospital, which will take you through the stunning Suffolk and Essex countryside.

Join our autumn walk and trek side-by-side with our amazing Hospital Heroes, explore historic locations, improve your fitness, and challenge yourself all whilst taking care of your friends and family when they need you most.

You will be providing patients and staff at your local hospitals and community sites with the extras that go above and beyond what the NHS can provide, but which can make a vital difference to health and healing. 

We would love for you to fundraise at our Hospital Hero Hike to support patients and staff when they need us most. When somebody you love is in hospital or having treatment, you want to be sure that they have everything they need for their recovery. 

You can choose to fundraise for one of our current appeals: Butterfly Appeal, Cancer Wellbeing, Radiotherapy, Staff Wellbeing or for the ward or department within our services closest to your heart.
