I’m taking on the Firewalk challenge for Moya Cole Hospice on 22nd October 2026!

Moya Cole Hospice (formerly St Ann's Hospice) will always have a very special place in my heart. In June, my son Nicholas (aged 25) was admitted to the hospice and spent the last 3 months of his life in their care. The care he received during his time in the hospice was exceptional. Every member of staff took him to their heart and treated him like he was a member of their own family. He was treated with great care, compassion and such kindness.

They also looked after his family too, they were their to support us in all kinds of ways as they knew that at some point he was going to pass away. Even after his passing, there was bereavement support etc.

Without people taking part in the events that they organise or without generous donations that people make, they would not be able to provide the exceptional level of care for end of life care.

If you are able to sponsor me to take on this challenge, it would mean so much. It doesn't matter how much you are able to donate as every penny will enable the hospice to continue the exceptional service they provide.
