Story
The University of Edinburgh's Geography Society is raising money for Fresh Start- a local Edinburgh charity who help those that have recently been homeless settle into their new homes and integrate back into the community.
The Geography Society's football team is playing against the Physics team, with a bake off and a raffle during half time!
Please come along to Peffermill Playing Fields on Sunday 1st October at 3pm to watch the football match and enter your baked goods (cake) to win!
We would really appreciate your donations and support to reach the target of £500, to help Fresh Start continue their incredible work!
Fresh Start provide starter packs of everyday household goods, help decorate up to two rooms of the new home, and the opportunity to attend cooking classes or work in one of their community's growing spaces.
Essentially, Fresh Start help people get their life back on track, enabling them to make a home for themselves.
See here for a link to purchase a ticket for the football match- it is only £3 for non-members!
