Being around horses enriches the lives of children with disabilities or learning difficulties. We offer free riding therapy that helps improve confidence, skills and self-esteem. Run entirely by volunteers we rely upon the generous donations received from our supporters to enable us to continue.

Story

Charlton Park RDA (Riding for the Disabled Association) gives free riding lessons to children with disabilities or learning difficulties.

On an average week, three amazing ponies - Willow, Paddy and Grace - and a team of volunteers give 60 disabled children a free 30 minute ride.

Charlton Park RDA is one of the very few RDA centres to offer this free riding therapy. Run entirely by volunteers - including the dedicated instructors who teach the lessons - it relies solely on donations and fundraising in order to continue to offer this valuable opportunity to local children.

Charlton Park RDA is very dear to me. I have volunteered there for 14 years and have seen the joy, confidence and skills that Willow, Paddy and Grace give to the children who ride them.

Please sponsor me if you are able to.

Every penny raised will go directly to the care and upkeep of these three remarkable ponies at Charlton Park, who bring so much happiness to everyone who meets them.
