Story
I’m honoured to share that I’ll be running the London Marathon on 27th April 2025. This journey is more than just a personal challenge; it’s a heartfelt tribute to two remarkable men, my best friend Andrew Scripps and my Dad, Kenny, both of whom lost their lives to cancer in the last two years.
During their battles with cancer, Andrew and my Dad received incredible care and support, which inspired me to raise funds for Isabel Hospice. This wonderful organisation provides compassionate care for patients with life-limiting illnesses across Eastern Hertfordshire. Their team offers essential services, from in-patient care and community support to bereavement counseling, ensuring dignity and quality of life for both patients and their families during the hardest times.
Scrippsy was my best friend, always full of life and laughter. My Dad, Kenny, was always there for me, offering his unwavering support throughout my life. The strength and courage they showed during their fights against cancer was truly inspiring. Running this marathon in their memory is my way of honoring their lives and contributing to a cause that provides hope and support to others facing similar battles.
My goal is to raise £3000 for Isabel Hospice. Every donation will directly support their mission:
Your generosity, no matter the amount, will help others get the support and care they need and honour the memory of Andrew and my Dad Kenny.
I’ll be sharing updates on my marathon training journey here, including photos and stories. Your support and encouragement will be my driving force as I train and strive to reach my fundraising goal.
Together, we can support Isabel Hospice and ensure that others receive compassionate care at the most difficult time.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
