The Infrastructure Investors ‘Falling Leaves’ Charity Ride is an incredible fundraising event that will be held on Friday 20th September, starting at Mount Vineyard, Shoreham, Kent. Funds raised will go to support Re-engage and Compaid.

Story

I am thrilled to be participating in the Infrastructure Investors 'Falling Leaves' Charity Ride on Friday, September 20th, 2024. The 80km Falling Leaves event is definitely a personal cycling challenge as I have not been outside on a road bike for 2 years!

I am raising funds to support two incredible charities that provide vital assistance to older people in Kent who struggle with loneliness and isolation. Compaid works tirelessly to enhance independence and reduce isolation for older individuals and people with disabilities by offering accessible door-to-door transport and digital skills training. Meanwhile, Re-engage creates life-affirming social connections for older people through volunteer-led activities such as monthly tea parties, companion calls, and activity groups- all of which are provided free of charge.

The need for support is urgent, and every contribution will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.

I 'volunteered' for this with a only week to prepare so I am hoping my recent spinning classes will help (!) but anyway I am certain your donation will spur me on to the finish line.
