I will be taking on an incredible challenge with a group of cyclists — cycling 500 miles and climbing 40,000 feet across the Alps in seven days, from Basel to Milan, in June 2026, to raise funds for Celtic FC Foundation.

The challenge was originally scheduled to take place in 2020, the 50th anniversary of Celtic's appearance at the European Cup Final in Milan, but a global pandemic had other ideas. Now, on 13th June 2026, we will depart from St. Jakob’s Park, home of FC Basel in Switzerland. This is was the scene of Celtic’s first European Cup match in the 1969/70 season. A journey which ended with the final in the San Siro in Milan against Feyenoord. The group will thencross the Alps over the next 7 days, and arrive at the San Siro in Milan on the 19th June.
