Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page on behalf of St Mary's church Almondsbury.

We, as a church, have been participating in the annual Ride + Stride event since 2017 because we wish to support the work of the charity, Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust, as much as anything to having received a grant from themin the past in helping to restore our bells.

Churches are wonderful buildings: to look at, to visit, to feel and see the history behind them, to participate in various ways, not only by church-goers, but for visitors and for the local community, which inevitably takes ownership of this building in the heart of the village. This is especially true of Almondsbury.
