Story

Strathpuffer is the legendary 24-hour mountain bike endurance event held each winter near Contin in the Highlands of Scotland. Brave mountain bikers Andy Pearce, Donald Macpherson, James Fletcher, Steve Pratt, Jamie Carcary, Drew Graves, Jim Higgins, Laing Anderson, Jonathan Laing and Jonathan Coats are members of three teams in the event, raising funds for The Archie Foundation. Some of the bikers with their support team:

Team sponsors are IV10 Cafe Bar Deli and IDM Energy with thanks to The Anderson Hotel, Fortrose.

Friends of the team, Kenny and Maru's 12-year-old daughter Alma was diagnosed with a rare spinal tumour in May 2024. Read an article at the Ross-shire Journal.

The Archie Foundation has been one of the charities supporting Alma on her long journey through surgery and chemotherapy, both at the Highland Children's Unit at Raigmore Hospital in Inverness, and at the Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital. We're enormously grateful for any donations, which will help families in similar circumstances.
