Strava's Earthquake Relief Challenge

Story

Like many of you, we are heartbroken by the destruction and devastation caused by recent earthquakes in Syria and Turkey.

Strava is hosting a challenge and making a donation to support the work of the International Committee of the Red Cross. ICRC is providing direct relief – including food, water, blankets, medical and hygiene supplies, and first aid – to those affected and displaced by the disaster. If you’re able to, we strongly encourage you to donate to the Red Cross’ efforts. Any amount helps!

After you donate, we need your help to spread the word. That’s why the challenge itself should be straightforward: Just record 10 minutes of any activity in one go on Strava to earn the badge – then share it with your friends and encourage them to sign up and donate, too.

In times of crisis, sport can feel trivial. But we believe in the power of movement to unite, inspire and lift up people everywhere. Let’s rally together to support the people of Syria and Turkey.
