✨ “15,000ft of Courage” Team Swift Determined to Lift Children Higher ✨
On 16 June, at an airfield in Hibaldstow, six of our EPIC colleagues will stand side by side, looking up at a sky that suddenly feels a lot bigger than usual. Their mission?
A heart‑pounding 15,000ft skydive—the highest in the UK—taken on not for thrill, but for purpose.
They are jumping for HEY Children’s University, a charity dedicated to giving children across our local communities life‑changing opportunities, experiences, and inspiration. While not every child starts with the same chances, this team believes they can help level the playing field—one brave leap at a time.
Meet the Team of Six:
Charlie Hawkins
Danny Rogers
Ellis Leake
Sean Milner
Alex Steadman
Stuart Cromarty
Each person brings something different: nerves, excitement, determination, and a shared belief that every child deserves to dream big. But all six know exactly why they’re doing it.
Why This Challenge Matters?
Every pound raised will help HEY Children’s University provide experiences many children would never otherwise access—museum visits, theatre trips, outdoor learning, mentoring, and confidence‑building adventures that shape futures.
For these kids, these moments are more than days out.
They are sparks of belief.
They are glimpses of possibility.
They are the start of “I can.”
The Jump
On the day, the team will board the small aircraft together. The door will open. The wind will roar. Hearts will race.
And then—one by one—they’ll step into the sky.
For 60 adrenaline-fuelled seconds, they will free‑fall at 120mph.
For the next few minutes, they’ll glide under a parachute, taking in the sweep of countryside below them.
And with every second of that descent, they’ll be carrying with them the hopes of the children they’re fundraising for.
Their goal
Raise as much as possible to lift children’s aspirations even higher than 15,000ft.
Every donation, big or small, becomes part of their story—and the stories of the children whose lives will be changed through HEY Children’s University.
Be Part of the Story
If the team can conquer the sky, together we can help children conquer their futures.
Support their jump. Support their courage.
Support the children who need it most.
