A challenge for Stuart!

For every scarecrow that is built and officially registered, Stuart will row one mile on a rowing machine during Scarecrow Festival week.

So, 50 scarecrows means 50 miles. If the festival reaches its target of 100, Stuart will be taking on a whopping 100 miles!

Visitors will be able to follow his progress during the festival — so remember, your entry could mean another mile for Stuart!

This year we are raising money for Wadars Animal Rescue, a leading animal welfare charity and has been rescuing local wildlife and rehoming companion animals since 1969.

At Wadars they believe that animals enrich our lives: we also know that they cannot speak for themselves and need protection. Last year Wadars rescued more than 1,400 injured, orphaned and at risk birds and wildlife, and rehomed hundreds of cats, dogs and other companion animals.
