A challenge for Stuart!

For every scarecrow that is built and officially registered, Stuart will row one mile on a rowing machine during Scarecrow Festival week.

This year, there has been an amazing 127 scarecrows entered into the festival! This means that Stuart will be rowing an incredible 127 miles—one mile for every single scarecrow.

This year we are raising money for Wadars Animal Rescue, a leading animal welfare charity and has been rescuing local wildlife and rehoming companion animals since 1969.

At Wadars they believe that animals enrich our lives: we also know that they cannot speak for themselves and need protection. Last year Wadars rescued more than 1,400 injured, orphaned and at risk birds and wildlife, and rehomed hundreds of cats, dogs and other companion animals.
