This May, we’re tackling Snowdon for Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

On May the 9th 2026 we will be taking on Snowdon in support of Crohn’s & Colitis UK.

This isn’t just another charity challenge for Subsidium – for us Crohn’s and Colitis is part of our everyday life and company culture – we often joke living with IBD is on the interview to work with us!

In the UK around 500,000 people are living with these chronic and often invisible conditions, but due to the stigma and uncomfortable topics that come hand-in-hand with IBD, the real number is likely much higher. In our small company alone, we have a handful of people suffering with these conditions so to us these aren’t just statistics, they are our colleagues and friends.

Crohn’s and Colitis’ effects extend much further than simply physical health – many find their energy, confidence, careers, mental wellbeing, and even the ability to plan a normal day severely impacted by needing to know where the closest bathroom is.

Too many people still deal with this in silence until their condition becomes critical, so this May we are tackling Snowdon to stand with those facing their own uphill battles every day. Our goal is to bring light to this invisible illness and raise funds for earlier diagnosis, improved treatment, and vital research into a cure - while helping create a world where no one feels alone, embarrassed and unsupported because of a condition they didn’t choose.
