I'm looking forward to Saturday 12th September when we hope to see 100 people doing a circuit of Knowle, one after another, in a variety of comical, unconventional ways. Some three legged with a partner, piggybacking a friend, hopping, skipping, running backwards - I'm still pondering mine (there's even talk of the vicar being pushed the mile in a wheelbarrow - ouch!) And all in aid of the For Future Generations project to enable the interior of the beautiful 15th century Knowle Parish Church be more useable in the 21st and beyond - a church family that has served our own family well over the past 32 years.
