Story
I have decided to take on the challenge of walking for several hours on a mountain in the middle of the night!
I am raising money for Worcestershire Neonatal Services, which is very special to me as it is where I work as a Neonatal Nurse.
I am really looking forward to this after (hopefully) completing my university course, developing my skills and increasing my knowledge in specialist neonatal intensive care. I love my job, which you may realise if you ask me literally anything about babies and I will go on and on and on and suddenly you know about transient tachypnea of the newborn, hyperbilirubinaemia, the effect of oxytocin and how skin to skin is the answer to everything! 😄
I'm really pleased to say some of my lovely friends are joining me and lots of others who are raising money for the trust charity.
"Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Charity supports patients, staff and services in Worcestershire’s acute hospitals. Our aim is to make the experience less difficult, the environment more comfortable
and the working day easier for everyone.
This could be by enhancing the space in a new building development with artwork or supporting the purchase of the most advanced medical equipment. Your donations support developments and activities which are over and above core NHS services, no donations are used to replace core NHS funding."
