Story
On 23rd March, we will be coming together to walk in support of the Super Rare campaign and The Aplastic Anaemia Trust.
Last year's walk was so fun, this year we're doing it all over again! We're mixing it up with a walk through Epping Forest. Dogs and children are welcome. We'll share the route so everyone can choose to walk at your own pace. We'll walk to a pub for lunch, where you can opt to either taxi back to the station or join us for the walk back. If you have very young kids, you'll be able to join us at a car park half way to the pub for a short walk option.
We will meet at Chingford Station at 11am and arrive at the pub for lunch. After lunch we'll walk back to Chingford Station and people who'd like to make a day off it can join us for post- walk beers and dinner.
RSVP
Please RSVP for the walk here so we can keep you in the loop about the start time etc when the route is finalised: https://forms.gle/d28bZ64bkU3H4sC7A
Everyone is welcome to come, whether you are friends, family, locals, or people who have experience of a super rare condition.
Donate
Please make a donation on this page to support peope living with Super Rare bone marrow related conditions.
You can help our small charity to be there for amazing mums like Lauren.
Food
We're not making lunch for everyone this year because it's a bit too far from our house, but we will provide walking snack packs to everyone who RSVPs & donates, and the pub we're walking to has a wide variety of delicious food options (we love the seafood shack).
Also
The walk is on Sam's birthday! Sam doesn't want you to get him a present for his birthday, he just wants for you to donate on this page and come with us on the walk.
Here is a picture of Sam having a very excellent time on last year's walk:
