Story

I'm undertaking 10 sponsored challenges with the goal of raising £10,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in memory of my wonderful dad.

My dad was diagnosed with MND — a progressive, life-shortening illness that affects the brain and nerves - in 2022. Watching the condition quickly take away his ability to move, speak, and eventually breathe was heartbreaking. Despite everything, he faced each day with strength and dignity. He lost his battle with MND in 2024.

After loosing dad I launched my own fundraising campaign; undertaking 10 challenges to raise awareness of the disease and honour his memory. I fund all my challenges myself so that the money I raise can support others affected by this devastating disease. All the money I raise goes to the MND Association - a charity that works tirelessly to support those living with MND - funding critical research, fighting for improved access to care and helping families with equipment and respite.

As part of my fundraising I have put together a team where we undertake some challenges together and then collaboartively make a wider impact. If you'd like to be involved, please reach out!

If you’re able to support my fundraising in any way, I’d be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, helps move us closer to a world free from MND.

Thank you so much for your support.
