Raising money for Motor Neurone Disease Association
In memory of Ian Bonnick

Join our challenge to run 60 miles this August and raise vital funds to support families affected by motor neurone disease.

Story

Amanda is undertaking 10 sponsored challenges with the goal of raising £10,000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association, in memory of her wonderful dad, Ian.

Ian was diagnosed with MND — a progressive, life-shortening illness that affects the brain and nerves - in 2022. Watching the condition quickly take away his ability to move, speak, and eventually breathe was heartbreaking for the family. Despite everything, he faced each day with strength and dignity. He lost his battle with MND in 2024.

After loosing her dad, Amanda launched her own fundraising campaign; undertaking 10 challenges to raise awareness of the disease and honour his memory. All the money raised goes to the MND Association - a charity that works tirelessly to support those living with MND - funding critical research, fighting for improved access to care and helping families with equipment and respite.

As part of her fundraising Amanda has put together this fundraising team where we undertake some challenges together and collaboartively make a wider impact. If you'd like to be involved, please reach out! We'd love to have you join us.

If you’re able to support our team fundraising in any way, we'd be incredibly grateful. Every donation, no matter the size, helps move us closer to a world free from MND.
