Story
In June 2025, my life changed forever when I was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since then, life has been a whirlwind of hospital appointments, treatment, fear, hope, and determination. I underwent a Whipple procedure followed by chemotherapy, and while the journey has been incredibly tough, I’ve tried to face every challenge with strength and positivity.
A few weeks ago, I received the devastating news that the cancer has now spread to my liver and is now Stage 4. It’s news no one ever wants to hear, but it has made me even more determined to make the most of the time I have left, and to do something meaningful along the way.
My family had already signed up to take part in the Walk 60 Miles in June for Pancreatic Cancer challenge, and I’ve decided to join them. Together, we’ll be walking 60 miles throughout June to raise awareness and funds for a disease that affects far too many families.
Pancreatic cancer is one of the deadliest forms of cancer, and more research, support, and awareness is desperately needed. By supporting this challenge, you’ll be helping organisations continue vital work to improve treatments, provide support to families, and give hope for the future.
This challenge won’t always be easy for me physically, but every mile will represent resilience, love, and determination. I want to show that even in the hardest moments, there is still purpose, still courage, and still a chance to make a difference.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you can share this page, it would mean the world to me and my family.
Thank you for your support, encouragement, and kindness during this difficult journey. It truly means more than words can say.
