Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. In November this year I was diagnosed with Myxofibrosarcoma, a rare form of cancer. I had never heard of it until my diagnosis so I want to help raise awareness of the disease. I underwent limb-saving surgery in December 2025 and am in the process of learning to walk and dance on my ‘new’ leg. I needed a goal to aim for so on 16 August 2026, I will be taking part in a walk with my immediate family and hopefully some friends around the beautiful Longshaw Estate in Derbyshire to raise funds for Sarcoma UK. This national charity is dedicated to funding vital research, providing support for those affected by sarcoma cancer, and campaigning for better treatments.

Sarcoma is a rare and challenging type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is often difficult to diagnose and remains one of the hardest cancers to treat effectively. This makes the work of Sarcoma UK incredibly important — your support can help change the future for patients and families, like mine facing this disease.
