I am taking on the Everest Base Camp trek on 22 October 2026 to raise funds for the Nepal Floods Appeal through ActionAid. This personal trek is a meaningful challenge for me, and I am carrying it out in solidarity with the people whose lives have been deeply affected by the severe flooding in Nepal.\n\nA catastrophic flood struck Nepal\'s Rasuwa district after an intense surge of water entered the Bhotekoshi river and rapidly travelled downstream through the Trishuli river corridor. Entire communities have faced heartbreaking loss, with homes, markets, bridges and roads washed away or severely damaged. Thousands of people have been impacted, and many families are still facing urgent uncertainty as search and rescue efforts continue.\n\nThis appeal matters because people affected by the floods need immediate support to begin rebuilding their lives with dignity and hope. ActionAid and its partners are providing emergency shelter, food, safe water, and medical and protection services, especially for women and children who are in urgent need.\n\nMy fundraising target is £1,000, and every donation will help bring practical relief to people who need it most. I would be so grateful if you could support my fundraiser for the Nepal Floods Appeal. Together, we can offer comfort, care, and a stronger path forward for communities in Nepal.

Every penny will help rebuild this Nepalese community struck by this disaster.

Many many thanks & great gratitude for your kindness 🙏🏽
