Join 'Team One-Eighty' at the Blenheim 7k this May, and help to turn around the lives of children, young people and their families in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire

Story

Why am I running?

I want to champion the amazing work that our incredible team is delivering every day to young people struggling with their mental health and education needs. Despite the cost of living crisis, the fallout from the pandemic, and ongoing hurdles that we are all facing, our team constantly strives to have hope for our young people, and deliver an exceptional model to enable young people to turn their lives around.

With your support we aim to double our delivery and provide long term sustainable change for those at the point of crisis and who face long waiting lists for support or treatment. We want to prevent the need for more complex support, to be available for parents/carers when they call, and provide the essential resources to equip professionals across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Who are we?

One-Eighty is a mental health and behaviour support charity, empowering children and young people to improve their mental health and re-engage with education.

Through intensive one-to-one sessions, One-Eighty supports children and young people dealing with complex personal challenges (such as trauma, bereavement, mental health difficulties, and those with difficult family circumstances) which prevent them from engaging with school. One-Eighty delivers preventative mental health projects to schools, and provides specialist training and support to professionals working with children and young people.
