SHCS, Sutton is a Registered UK Charity (No. 1197115) and has been serving the community for the past 5 years. Our mission is to establish a Hindu Mandir and Community Centre in Sutton, fulfilling a dream cherished by the local Hindu community for more than 40 years.

There are over 17,000+ Hindu/Sanatan residents in the London Borough of Sutton, yet there is currently no dedicated Hindu place of worship. This project will create a permanent spiritual, cultural, and community home for present and future generations.

We have identified a suitable bid property and have already secured commitments for approximately 50% of the estimated funds required to secure the property in the bid. We now aim to raise the remaining £250,000.

🌸 The Mandir & Community Centre Will:

* Provide a dedicated space for worship, cultural activities, and learning

* Support children, youth, families, and elders

* Preserve and promote Sanatan Dharma, its values, and heritage

* Serve as a focal point for community unity, festivals, education, and service

We have identified a suitable bid property and have already secured commitments for approximately 50% of the estimated funds required to secure the property in the bid. We now aim to raise the remaining £250,000.
