In the UK, there are approximately 3.5 million people living with cancer with someone receiving a diagnosis on average every 90 seconds.

For the last 16-years, Boots and Macmillan Cancer Support have been working in partnership to give everyone, everywhere, the cancer information and support they need. From the moment of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond, Macmillan is their to offer advice and support, every step of the way.

On Thursday 11 September 2025, I will be part of a team of Boots colleagues from across its stores, support office and supply chain, lacing up our walking boots to do something mighty for Macmillan. On a mission to raise as much money as possible for those affected by cancer, we will be hiking either 6 or 14 miles around Boot's home city of Nottingham.

I'm sure it comes as no surprise that I have volunteered to take on the 14 mile hike, so any donation you can give will be greatly appreciated.
