Story
Last year BBC Radio Oxford gave me 10 days to learn to swim and do 1 length with them in their CiN challenge. Learning as an adult has been hard, both physically and mentally, but allows me to enjoy pool time with the family. Now, 12 months later, I'm proving that it is possible to progress and I'm doing this challenge to give back to Children in Need, as thanks for the fun and fitness they pushed on me last year. I'm going to be joined by my family, as well as some of those who have helped me and my family on our swimming journey.
Across a week we are aiming to do 25 miles as a team, with at least 2 of them done by me personally, in batches of 25x25m lengths each day.
Thanks to everyone who is joining for this:
The family - Nette, Izzy and Jessica
The Better team - Vicky & Clare with more to come soon
The adult swim lessons family - people who have been learning alongside me
Even more special people - Charly
Lowe - when it looked like Joe wouldn't be able to join they are flying in (quite literally) Will
