This July, for world drowning prevention day, join THE BIG SPLASH CHALLENGE and pledge to swim to help us achieve our mission. Help us reach our target of 235000m, one metre for each life lost to drowning globally each year.

Story

This July, for world drowning prevention day, join our worldwide community for THE BIG SPLASH CHALLENGE and pledge to swim to help us achieve our mission.

235,000 lives are lost to drowning globally every year, according to the WHO. We need YOUR help to collectively swim 235,000 metres, one metre for each life needlessly cut short. As we remember Darcey, and others we've loved and lost, we also celebrate all the wonderful work being done in drowning prevention.

We ask you to pledge your distance in the water, joining us between the 22nd and 25th July as we pop on something YELLOW and create a SPLASH, raising awareness and funds for drowning prevention. Our only rules...keep yourself safe, and never swim alone. Get your family and friends involved and see who can go the distance!

The is no cure for drowning, but it's 100% preventable. Help us create a ripple of sunshine around the world with your big splash.
