This past summer, I had the privilege of interning with the Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking team at Family and Community Resources, Inc. (FCR) in Brockton. Getting to witness firsthand the life-changing work this agency does made a huge impact on me. Because of this, I am walking in their Walk for Survivor Safety 5K next month to support them. Survivors often face significant physical, emotional, financial, and social barriers when seeking safety and rebuilding their lives. The journey to leave an abusive relationship can be incredibly challenging and dangerous, requiring tremendous courage and support.

Funds raised through this event help FCR provide essential services, including safety planning, crisis intervention, housing support, advocacy, and compassionate guidance for survivors and their families.
