We’re coming together for Team Maddi, to fight for a brave girl's future.

Maddi is in her early twenties and from Essex. She should be enjoying life with her friends, building her future, and making memories. Instead, she is battling SPG15, an ultra-rare and devastating form of motor neurone disease.

Maddi is the only person in the UK diagnosed with this condition. It is cruelly stealing her ability to walk, move, and even swallow. Day by day, she is losing her independence. There is no treatment available on the NHS....no safety net, no help.

But there is hope. Maddi has been told that her mutation can be fixed with a gene therapy that’s already within reach. The science is there, but unless we raise the funds to make it happen, it will come too late.

That’s why we’re launching the Team Maddi Celebrity Football Match on Saturday 27th September at Maldon & Tiptree FC. Celebrities will take to the pitch against Factory Gym bodybuilders, who have been supporting Maddi every step of the way. It will be an incredible day of sport, awareness, and unity.

But the truth is..... Maddi doesn’t have time. We urgently need funds to give her a chance at life. This gene therapy won’t wait, and neither will her disease.
