I will be taking part in the annual DocBike Dorset Ride Out charity event, on my Zero SR/S of course, to raise money for this deserving Dorset charity.

Who are DocBike?

DocBike was created in Dorset as a result of attending seriously injured motorcyclists on the air ambulance and seeing the devastation that a serious bike crash has on the rider and their family & friends.

DocBike works tirelessly to keep bikers on two wheels. As far as we know, we're the only charity in the world dedicated solely to this.

They do this by:

- Putting air ambulance critical care doctors and paramedics onto response motorcycles to help anyone who needs critical care, not just motorcyclists

- Running FREE BikerDown courses, teaching members of the public how they can help keep an injured motorcyclist alive until the emergency services get there.

- Using our knowledge of why motorcycle crashes happen to give motorcyclists the skills and knowledge to prevent them from being involved in a crash in the future - regardless of who is at fault.
