HOW OUR RAFFLE WORKS

Donate as much as you are comfortable with. Remember to enter your full name and company so we know how to contact you.

£5 donation = 1 raffle ticket

£10 donation = 3 raffle tickets

£25 donation = 10 raffle tickets

£50 donation = 25 raffle tickets

Your donation will be converted into the appropriate number of virtual raffle tickets, we'll load all the names into an online spin wheel service, and the winner will be drawn and announced on Friday December 20th.

BACKGROUND

At Christmas, we like to make donations to charities in the areas in which we operate. This year we’re going with Social Bite for our company donations, raising funds for their Festival of Kindness with this charity raffle. We also put the gifts we are privileged enough to receive from some of our suppliers to good use.

Smaller gifts are placed under the Christmas tree in our Glasgow HQ and we sell raffle tickets internally to raise a little extra for our chosen charity or charities, plus provide a bit of cheer to our team as the three month period in the run up to Christmas is our busiest time of the year.

Any larger gifts are put to one side and used as raffle prizes for The Caley Group Christmas Raffle which we open up to our customers, suppliers, and the general public to help raise even more money for our chosen charitable cause(s).

Finally, The Caley Group MD and owner, Craig Porter, and his wife Julie, dip into their own pockets to provide the big prize and donate it to The Caley Group to be used as a main raffle prize.

All together, we try do a little good and spread a little cheer, and we thank anyone able to help us help those who need it most.

SOCIAL BITE

Social Bite has bases in the same places as The Caley Group (Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh, and Glasgow) and is involved in a number of projects and initiatives around their ultimate goal of ending homelessness.

Social Bite is a charity and social business providing homes, jobs, food, and support to empower people experiencing homelessness to transform their own lives.

Social Bite believes everyone deserves a safe place to call home, that a job can be truly transformative for someone who has experienced homelessness, and that food is one of the most powerful tools to help signpost people to access support.
