Donate A Gift is back this year, and we are asking for your support. Building on the success of last year with £10 donations buying a £10 gift voucher for the young patients, it means that every child in hospital over Christmas receives a lovely surprise gift. For some children, this is their only gift.

This year we are encouraging businesses and individuals to donate £10 to provide one gift to a young patient. There are 77 in-patient beds for children this year, so in order to gift each young patient on Christmas Day, the target is £770. We have increased our target beyond this, so we can provide as many patients over the Christmas period with a little gift to brighten up their stay.

Any funds raised over our target will support our wider project to replenish toys and play equipment throughout outpatient and ambulatory care paediatric areas.

Over 250,000 children visit UCLH each year, donations over the total gift amount will be used to fill these areas with toys and to improve patient experience for young people visiting UCLH.
