Story
We are taking part in WeSeeHope's Social Entrepreneurs Project (SEP).
Our challenge is to come up with a creative business idea and to turn £10 of 'seed capital' which we have each been given into a profit for WeSeeHope.
We have come up with the idea of 3D printing models, and selling them to make a profit.
Profits from our business will support WeSeeHope's work with vulnerable children across Sub-Saharan Africa. This will include their Vocational Training Programme, which provides young people who have dropped out of school with on-the-job training in the likes of tailoring, carpentry, hairdressing and mechanics, helping them to launch their own businesses too.
To put this into context, if we can turn £10 into £150 this is enough to train a young person in a vocational skill and give them the tools to set up their own business!
