The Yorkshire Vet gets ready for the Worlds Fastest Zip Line - Fundraiser for RSPCA

The Yorkshire Vet is raising money for RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield and District Branch

The Yorkshire Vet - Charity Adrenaline Activity · 17 November 2025

The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District works to rehabilitate and find loving homes for animals in need throughout the Calderdale, Huddersfield & Bradford area. We are a self funding branch of the RSPCA and rely heavily on the generosity of our supporters. Thank you for your kindness!

Story

Matt and Lucy S are taking on the fastest zip line in the WORLD at Zip World, in Wales! They’ll be flying through the air at speeds of up to 100mph, while Julian and Lucy H cheer them on back home in Yorkshire.

The pair will brave dizzying heights and breathtaking countryside views - all to raise money for the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & District Branch on behalf of Team Julian.

This thrilling challenge is part of The Yorkshire Vet Christmas Special, where the vets are going head-to-head in festive fundraising adventures - each team taking on a different activity for charity.

You can expect plenty of laughter, adrenaline, and festive cheer as Team Julian push themselves to the limit for a fantastic cause.

Your donations will go directly to the RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & District Branch, helping to care for, rehabilitate, and rehome animals in need — especially during the busy Christmas season.

If Team Julian’s zip line challenge inspires you, please consider donating - every penny helps make a difference to local animals in need.

Meanwhile, across Yorkshire, Team Peter - Shona, David, and Rohin - will be taking on their own festive challenge: a charity horse-riding hack to raise money for another brilliant cause, The Farming Community Network (FCN).
