The Holiday Shop Blackburn is celebrating 20 years in business, and to mark this special milestone we are holding a Charity Fundraising Evening on 14 November 2026 at Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

When deciding which local charity to support, we wanted our customers and wider community to have a say. We asked our Facebook followers to nominate and choose a charity that matters to them, and East Lancashire Hospice was selected by the people who use and support our shop.

That choice means a great deal to us. So many people across Blackburn and the surrounding areas have been touched by the work of East Lancashire Hospice. Many local families have experienced the care, kindness and support the hospice provides, whether through help for a loved one, support for relatives or compassionate care during an incredibly difficult time.

East Lancashire Hospice is much more than a building. It is a vital part of our community, supporting local people with life-limiting illnesses and helping their families through some of the hardest moments they may ever face. Its staff and volunteers provide care, dignity, comfort and reassurance, both at the hospice and within the wider community.

Our fundraising evening will welcome approximately 120 guests and will include a celebrity memorabilia auction, raffle prizes and other fundraising activities. With the support of our customers, local businesses and more than 22,000 Facebook followers, we hope to raise as much as possible for East Lancashire Hospice and Teenage Cancer Trust.

Every donation made through this page will go directly to East Lancashire Hospice.
