Story

🥾 Ifty and Isaac’s Father & Son Snowdon Challenge!

This year, we – a father and son team – are lacing up our walking shoes to take on a special journey close to our hearts. We are taking on the challenge of climbing Snowdon to raise funds for Emmie’s Kitchen, a wonderful charity that provides free home-cooked meals and support to families with children in hospital.

Every step up that mountain is for the parents and carers who spend long, exhausting days by their child’s side, often far from home. Isaac, the son in our duo, met Emmie while they were both receiving treatment at the Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Seeing first-hand the kindness, strength, and support they have brought to families during such difficult times, Emmie’s Kitchen helps ease that burden with warmth, kindness, and a full plate. Emmie’s Kitchen continues to be more than just a free meal, the volunteers provide emotional support - Parents with their own lived experience offer advice and guidance, and more recently has been at the forefront of raising awareness about childhood cancer.

Your donation, big or small, will help them continue this vital work for families who need it most. Together, we can make a difference – one step, and one meal at a time ❤️
