Emma, Claire, Abi & Tash have formed a team to complete Race the Sun Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) triathlon, on 13th September, for the children's charity Action Medical Research.

We will be setting off at sunrise from Llanberis to bike around Yr Wyddfa (31 miles), then hike up and down the Llanberis path to the summit of Snowdon (9 miles), then we will commence a kayak across Llyn Padarn (2 miles). This is a challenging course, in a race against the sun and will be pushing us beyond our usual limits.

We are racing in aid of children's charity, Action Medical Research. They have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.

By supporting our team you will be helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.

We have already started our training for this event and are dedicated to completing this event, whilst raising money for an amazing cause.
