Story
We (Claire, Ian, Matthew and Eloisa) are tackling the My Cancer My Choice's 10th Anniversary Challenge and doing the Goring Gap 10K Walk as a family to raise much-needed funds in support of those living with cancer.
The route follows the Thames and Ridgeway national trails which are mixed terrain, including woodland sections through the Chiltern Hills and a couple of notable climbs in the Chilterns! (Which Claire is dreading!)
We originally set our target at £350 - the average cost of supporting someone all the way through their six free complementary therapy treatments, group courses and other support, provided by My Cancer My Choices and its amazing volunteers. Thank you for helping us to smash that - every £ above thay is working towards suppprting a second person on their journey - wpuld be amazing to achieve that too!
My Cancer My Choices understands the challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis which is why it is passionate about providing access to complementary therapies that can help alleviate some symptoms, reduce stress, and improve overall wellbeing for individuals living with cancer. We believe that everyone with cancer deserves access to complementary therapies from the moment of diagnosis.
We are excited to be fundraising for such an important cause and please support each of us in the challenge, knowing your donation will make a difference to people living with cancer. Or better still - come and join us, and fundraise too!
