Cancer affects the body, mind and spirit, so we passionately believe everyone with cancer should have access, from diagnosis, to complementary therapies, such as acupuncture, reflexology and mindfulness, that enhance their wellbeing and keep them in control of their journey.

Story

Why Fundraise and Walk For Us?

Walk 10K whilst raising £75 (or more!) in aid of My Cancer My Choices to support a friend or family member with cancer, or in memory of a loved one. By joining us for our 10th Anniversary Challenge, you will not only be focusing on your own health and wellbeing but also showing your solidarity for people living with cancer.

At My Cancer My Choices, we understand the challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis. Founded 10 years ago, our award-winning team of volunteers offer individuals living with cancer in Berkshire and the surrounding areas a range of complementary therapies and group courses tailored to alleviate symptoms such as pain, fatigue, nausea, and emotional distress.

MCMC has been a beacon of hope in my cancer journey, offering therapies that restored not only my physical well-being but also my sense of joy and normalcy.

We provide six free one-to-one treatments to individuals who are newly diagnosed, undergoing active treatment, or within six months of finishing treatment. While our therapies and courses are provided free of charge, fundraising is essential to cover costs.

The support I’ve received from MCMC has been nothing short of life-changing. Their therapies provided me with more than just physical relief; they offered emotional healing and a sense of connection during a deeply isolating time.

We are incredibly grateful to you for your support. You are not just helping us celebrate—you are also helping us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing cancer and empowering us to continue delivering vital services.
