As many of you know on January 3, 2012 our beautiful little girl was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. Sophia endured 3 surgeries, multiple MRI's and spinal taps plus 6 cycles of chemotherapy followed by a stem transplant. She was treated by an amazing team at Montefiore Children's Hospital.

We are so blessed and so excited to share with you that our Super Sophia will be celebrating 12 years in Remission on July 27th!!! In April, Sophia and her twin sister Isabella celebrated turning16!!! Sophia got her permit and is on the road. So watch out!!! She is a natural at it! She started her first job and received her first paycheck and of course already spent it! She is ready to conquer Junior year in September and begin the college process!!! We are truly blessed to celebrate these milestones.

Last year I raised over 5,000 dollars for this amazing organization, and this year I'm raising the bar to 6,000 for FOK who provides support to hundreds of families caring for a child with cancer of life-threatening illness.
