On Sunday 26th July, 2026, we - The Slice is Right team - took on a monster challenge to support the Childhood Tumour Trust.

We walked 20 miles while 4 rounds of golf back-to-back - starting at the crack of dawn at Montrose Golf Links; Broomfield, then 1562, then 1562, then Broomfield!

Why did we do this?

NF1 (Neurofibromatosis Type 1) is a genetic condition that causes tumours to grow on nerves throughout the body. It can lead to learning difficulties, chronic pain, and an increased risk of cancer. It’s a heavy burden for children and their families to carry alone.

The Childhood Tumour Trust is a lifeline. They provide:

Essential family support networks.

Educational resources for schools and doctors.

Vital research to improve future outcomes.

Youth camps for kids to build confidence.
