I decided I need to be more active and wanted to raise money for a good cause. I love Christmas and can’t imagine a child not being able to have a present. I want to raise money to help children who can’t have a present to get one. I will be walking 10,000 steps everyday in November - whatever the weather.

We know many families struggle with the additional financial and emotional pressures of the festive season. What's more, due to the impact of the cost-of-living crisis, this year many families who were already struggling must now make impossible decisions, such as whether to heat their home, purchase food or buy their children a present.

Family Action's Toy Appeal was set up to ensure no child they work with goes without a gift at Christmas, and to help families enjoy this special time of year regardless of the pressures they face day to day.
