My amazing wife Sarah has come to the end of her rollercoaster cancer battle. Sarah's memorial page is here.

As a tribute to Sarah I am attempting to run "The Triple" in Edinburgh. This is a series of three races, which due to Sarah's illness, I have been unable to prepare / train for - well thats the point of a challenge!

The triple comprises of

The E2NB20 - The Edinburgh to North Berwick 20 mile coastal road race. Saturday 4th May 2024.

The Edinburgh marathon. Sunday 26 May 2024.

The Edinburgh seven hills race. Sunday 16th June 2024.

Sarah and I decided any kind donations should go to Maggies Cancer Support, as our family have benefitted from the use of both the Edinburgh and Manchester Centres.

For Sarah and I the relaxing non-clinical and normalising environment Maggies created provided a welcome break from the medical battle Sarah and the amazing Christies team were fighting over the road.

For me Maggies also provided a space where I could sit and do work or just listen to my headphones whilst Sarah had treatments or procedures where I couldn't be present.

Two of Sarah's life passions have been architecture and design. These two important parts of Sarah's life are so distinct at Maggies that it feels like Sarah designed the environment herself.
