This June, I am Running 100 miles for Refuge. And this one is close to my heart.

I have lived experience of domestic abuse. I know how it feels to be trapped, to be scared, and to not know how to get out. I also know what life looks like on the other side - and every woman deserves the chance to find that.

1 in 4 women will experience domestic abuse in their lifetime. On any given day, Refuge supports thousands of women and their children to rebuild their lives, free from fear.

Just £52 pays for one safe night in a refuge for a woman and her children fleeing an abuser.

Every mile I run this month is for her.
