London to Brighton Cycle Challenge 2025 - Pedal for a Purpose!

Ti-Jean Martin is raising money for Pan

Skyline London to Brighton Bike Ride · 14 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

To celebrate 40 years of Pan using the arts to inspire social change, we are thrilled to be taking part in the Skyline London to Brighton Cycle on Sunday 14th September with a team of 40 riders.

Story

Our names are Ti-Jean and Livvy and we’re doing it again!

After riding 55 miles from London to Brighton last year, we’re now part of a team of 40 riders, including participants of PAN’s projects, once again raising money to support the charity’s vital work and celebrate its 40th year.

Almost more importantly, PAN is opening a new purpose-built space this year that will serve as a centre of its work with survivors of human trafficking, young asylum seekers/refugees and marginalised youth in danger of involvement in violent crime. This space needs to be equipped for PAN to continue to carry out its essential work allowing its participants to re-imagine and re-map futures not bound by violence or fear, all through the immensely expressive and reconstructive power of the arts.

As a reminder, the current global climate makes PAN’s work more vital than ever:

· 84,425 people are currently awaiting asylum decisions in the UK and 21,715 people seeking asylum in London, at least 1600 of whom are unaccompanied minors

· At least 100,000 people in the UK are victims of modern slavery and/or human trafficking

· Young people from marginalised backgrounds face immense barriers in society which leave them vulnerable to peer-pressure, radicalisation, gang affiliation and criminal activity

By donating you are directly helping some of society’s most vulnerable and marginalised communities’ live their lives free from fear, violence and limitations, easing tensions which could lead to loss of life. With your support PAN will continue, through its 40th year and beyond, to combat social injustice and drive towards long-term, impactful systemic change.

Thank you for supporting us and being part of that change!
